Job description

Role Overview

Hard Rock Cafe is looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support the cafe’s sales and marketing operations in City Of London. This salaried, overtime-exempt role is focused on helping drive revenue by managing specific initiatives, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting client-facing activities.

Key Duties

  • Prepare and negotiate sales and marketing agreements in line with corporate procedures.
  • Build and maintain the cafe event calendar and brand calendar.
  • Compile weekly occupancy reports in coordination with local hotel concierge teams.
  • Stay in touch with group travel planners and marketing partners, including follow-up communication.
  • Handle administration for package programs.
  • Track client payments and make sure collections are completed according to company process.
  • Manage sales and marketing materials and equipment such as banners, linens, and skirting.
  • Keep the cafe website updated through coordination with the support center online marketing team.
  • Support prospecting efforts with the Sales & Marketing Manager for corporate accounts, meeting and convention organizers, and past bookings.
  • Assist with buyouts, functions, and designated events to support operations, strengthen guest satisfaction, and encourage repeat business.
  • Attend approved trade shows within the cafe and corporate sales and marketing budgets.
  • Act as a link between the support center sales and marketing teams and the cafe.
  • Work with the Sales & Marketing Manager, General Manager, and Kitchen Manager to confirm that contracts and menus can be delivered operationally.
  • Join meetings as needed to brief management and/or staff on upcoming events and functions.
  • Help coordinate activities across departments.
  • Represent the department at client functions, marketing events, and selected parties.
  • Carry out the Hard Rock mission, values, mottos, culture, and spirit with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Collaborate with all departments so events and projects are completed successfully and reflect the brand.
  • Support a positive team environment and maintain high morale.
  • Work in an ethical manner to protect the Hard Rock brand image.
  • Use programs and practices that support environmental sustainability.

Skills and Attributes

Candidates should be able to understand and use professional language in both written and spoken form, and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings. Additional language fluency is an advantage, while English fluency is required.

FLSA Status
