Role overview

As a Sales Associate, you’ll be a key part of the in-store team, helping customers experience sneaker culture in a lively, approachable environment. You’ll spend time with shoppers of all ages, especially kids and families, offering product guidance, building complete looks, and contributing to a store experience that feels upbeat and welcoming.

In addition to customer support, you’ll represent the brand on the sales floor, assist with everyday store operations, and help keep the location tidy, organized, and ready for each visitor.

This requisition is being used to create a pool of candidates for future hiring at this location. There are currently no open vacancies, but roles may be filled quickly from the pool when a position opens. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply if they’d like to be considered for a future opening at this Foot Locker location.

Customer experience and sales

  • Greet shoppers warmly and help make the store an enjoyable place to browse and buy.
  • Support customers in putting together full outfits by preparing footwear and showcasing apparel and essential add-on items.
  • Boost sales by sharing product knowledge and guiding customers toward items that suit their needs and preferences.
  • Carefully pick, pack, and send online orders so they are completed accurately and delivered on time.

Store operations and execution

  • Assist with day-to-day store duties such as replenishing stock, maintaining the fitting room, handling cash, and keeping the sales floor clean and orderly.
  • Maintain visual presentation and recovery standards so the store stays customer-ready at all times.
  • Follow safety rules, loss prevention practices, and operating procedures to help protect customers, coworkers, and merchandise.
  • Manage company and customer information with care and keep all sensitive details confidential.

Teamwork and culture

  • Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to help achieve store targets.
  • Participate in training and coaching opportunities to continue learning and improving.
  • Contribute positive energy and help maintain a respectful, inclusive, and team-focused workplace.
  • Stay solution-oriented and step in wherever support is needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in footwear, fashion, sports, and youth culture.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and helping them make choices.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn.
