Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer position in Doha, Qatar. The role is centered on understanding client requirements, recommending technically suitable solutions, and building long-term customer relationships. You will work with both internal teams and external stakeholders to support the sales process and help achieve business targets.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will respond to sales enquiries, offer technical guidance, prepare commercial and technical proposals, and follow through to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also coordinate with internal departments and clients to move opportunities forward and deliver service that meets business expectations.
Candidate Profile
The company is looking for someone with hands-on experience in sales engineering and a clear understanding of technical products, their features, and real-world applications. Strong sales capability, including lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure, is important. Good communication and customer service skills are needed for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
Experience in technical support for industrial equipment will be an advantage, and a degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline is preferred. Prior exposure to the oil and gas or heavy industrial sector will be considered a plus. The ideal candidate should also be proactive, well-organized, comfortable solving problems, and able to work in Qatar with awareness of the regional market.
