Job overview
This role focuses on field-based sales and business development. The selected candidate will help attract and build new client relationships, using mechanical and basic electrical knowledge to better understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. The job also involves overseas travel when needed for business support and client engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out outdoor sales efforts to find, approach, and develop new client relationships that contribute to business growth.
- Use mechanical engineering fundamentals together with basic electrical knowledge to assess client needs and offer suitable solutions.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to handle issues and keep sales activities moving toward targets.
- Take a proactive approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles that may affect sales performance or customer satisfaction.
- Travel abroad when required to support business development and maintain client relationships.
Required qualifications
- A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Previous exposure to Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Other information
Work schedule: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
Working hours: 8:30am to 5:45pm.
Salary range: $4,000 to $6,000, depending on experience.
Location: Bukit Batok.
