About the role
The organisation is seeking a goal-driven professional with hands-on exposure to education counselling, student admissions, lead conversion, and relationship building. The right candidate should enjoy helping students make informed choices while also meeting sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Advise students and parents on available courses, programmes, and related career paths.
- Manage incoming and outgoing enquiries through phone calls, email, WhatsApp, and similar channels.
- Turn leads into confirmed admissions by sharing clear information and practical guidance.
- Keep in touch with prospects regularly so that enrolment happens on time.
- Maintain student databases, lead logs, and admission-related reports accurately.
- Conduct counselling discussions and support applicants through the admission journey.
- Work with internal teams to ensure students are onboarded smoothly.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotional drives, seminars, webinars, and other educational events.
- Meet monthly targets for admissions and revenue.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with students, parents, and education partners.
Requirements
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Good ability to sell, negotiate, and persuade.
- Capacity to understand student needs and recommend appropriate options.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
- Goal-focused approach with consistent follow-up discipline.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in education counselling, academic counselling, admission counselling, telecalling, sales, or marketing.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Bengali will be an advantage.
