About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master and Project Manager to lead significant transformation initiatives across technology and business departments. This position requires a blend of servant leadership, delivery oversight, and comprehensive project accountability to ensure high-quality releases that align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will excel at driving Agile execution while managing project planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivery outcomes for cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, Data, and Business units. This role involves balancing Scrum facilitation with traditional project management duties, ensuring smooth coordination across multiple teams, dependencies, and release cycles.

Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews/Demos, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
- Champion Agile best practices and ensure their consistent application across various teams.
- Lead Scrum of Scrums or ART sync meetings to manage inter-team dependencies and maintain alignment.
- Identify, track, and resolve impediments that hinder sprint and release commitments.
- Ensure sprint objectives are aligned with business priorities, timelines, and delivery milestones.
- Foster continuous improvement through retrospectives, performance metrics, and team coaching.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive end-to-end project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Define and monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies for initiatives.
- Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee release planning, roadmap synchronization, and execution tracking across teams.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, governance standards, and quality frameworks.
- Coordinate multi-team delivery within both Agile and hybrid project environments.
- Supervise delivery processes for engineering, QA, product, and business teams.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality releases through rigorous validation, testing, and defect management.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as velocity, burn-down rates, predictability, and defect leakage.
- Support integration efforts across various systems, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise tools.
- Ensure release readiness, including environment stability, deployment planning, and rollback procedures.
- Drive on-time delivery while upholding quality and compliance standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technology teams.
- Facilitate alignment between business goals and technical delivery strategies.
- Provide clear and transparent reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and release readiness.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and effectively resolve conflicts among teams.
- Support executive reporting and governance meetings with insightful delivery updates.
- Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Mentor Product Owners in backlog prioritization, story refinement, and value delivery.
- Cultivate a work environment that emphasizes ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Promote the adoption of DevOps, automation, and CI/CD practices.
- Lead root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives to enhance team performance.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Accumulate over 5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile settings.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of enterprise SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management principles.
- Exhibit a proven capacity to coordinate diverse, cross-functional teams across business and technology areas.
- Maintain substantial working experience applying project management best practices.
- Have experience managing intricate dependencies within large-scale enterprise programs.
- Possess excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Exhibit a strong servant leadership approach with a demonstrated ability to overcome delivery obstacles.
Additional Information
- Experience in the retail or e-commerce sector is advantageous.
- Agile certifications such as SAFe, CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP are preferred.
- Experience supporting large-scale Agile programs or Release Train environments is beneficial.
