Senior Azure Data Engineer - Fabric

Role overview

KPI Partners is hiring a Senior Azure Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory and Fabric. The position is based in Pune and is suited for someone who has worked on large data engineering programs and can build reliable, scalable data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade data pipelines in Azure Data Factory to move and transform data from multiple source systems into Azure storage services such as Blob, File, and Table storage.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business needs and translate them into scalable data architecture designs.
• Write advanced SQL queries to improve database efficiency and resolve performance-related issues in Azure SQL databases.
• Support system uptime and operational stability by using monitoring tools such as Fabric Control Center.

Requirements

• Overall IT Services & Consulting experience of 6 to 13 years, with a strong background in ADF development.
• Solid working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure storage technologies including Blob, File, and Table storage.
• Ability to develop complex SQL queries and use them to tune database performance.
• Prior exposure to large-scale initiatives involving several stakeholders.

Eligibility

Graduation is not mandatory for this role.
