Job description
About the Opportunity
Dijitally is working with a fast-scaling fintech unicorn that is transforming how organisations transfer money internationally. The team is seeking a Senior Designer who brings more than production skills — someone who can develop ideas, shape strong creative direction, and lift the quality of the final output. The role calls for a designer who can turn complex briefs into thoughtful creative systems and memorable storytelling across many brand touchpoints.
This position is an opportunity to influence how a global fintech brand presents itself visually and creatively. The work sits at the overlap of branding, storytelling, and product communication. You will take broad, sometimes abstract challenges and convert them into clear concepts that are distinctive, useful, and aligned to business goals.
Projects may range from global campaigns and product narratives to sales materials and brand-led moments. The ideal person is comfortable moving between strategic thinking and detailed craft, able to zoom out to develop the concept and zoom in to refine the execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate original creative directions that express the brand’s value proposition in a human, engaging, and visually strong way.
- Produce polished design work across campaigns, digital products and experiences, product storytelling, sales collateral, and internal communications.
- Simplify complex B2B and fintech topics into creative assets that are easy to understand, persuasive, and visually appealing.
- Work closely with Growth, Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to shape ideas that balance strategy with creative ambition.
- Develop and extend the brand’s visual system, including templates, standards, and scalable campaign structures.
- Test new approaches in motion, interaction, and format exploration to expand how the brand appears across static and dynamic channels.
- Carry projects from early concept development through rollout, making sure the final delivery matches the original intent.
- Take part in critiques, contribute to team culture, and help strengthen the creative bar across the organisation.
Candidate Profile
The right candidate is a visual problem-solver and storyteller, not only a designer who executes tasks. They should be able to think conceptually, build cohesive narratives, and present ideas clearly across different media.
Experience of 6 to 9 years in visual design, brand design, or creative communications is expected, ideally gained in an agency or a high-growth technology setting. A portfolio should show not just attractive execution, but also how concepts are developed and adapted across multiple formats.
You should be able to work within systems, campaigns, and longer-form narratives rather than relying only on single assets. Strong knowledge of typography, layout, colour, and hierarchy is important, along with the judgement to know when and how to push those fundamentals.
Comfort with creating presentations, landing pages, campaigns, social assets, and motion-led work is important. A collaborative attitude is also essential, since the role involves shaping ideas with others rather than working in isolation. Strong skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite are required, and experience with motion or interactive work would be an advantage.
Work Arrangement
This is a fixed-term full-time contract ending on 31 December 2026. The role is hybrid: you will work from the CBD fringe office on Mondays and Thursdays, and from home for the remaining three days each week.
You will join a team that values clarity, craftsmanship, and creativity with purpose. Design is treated as a central driver of growth, and the environment rewards ideas that are thoughtful, well-executed, and strategically useful.
