Medanta is a multi-specialty healthcare organization that has built a strong presence over the last 15+ years by delivering advanced patient care across India. Its network includes hospitals in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR), Lucknow, Patna, Noida, Indore, and Ranchi, along with clinics in Defence Colony (South Delhi), Cybercity, Subhash Chowk (Gurgaon), Golf Course Road, and the Delhi Airports.
The organization is also expanding its digital healthcare offerings, including homecare, and has moved into out-of-hospital services such as lab operations outside hospitals and pharmacy chains. It continues to grow its current operations, explore new locations, and develop new healthcare avenues, including a medical school.
Role Objective
This position focuses on managing payroll, statutory compliance, employee benefits administration, and core HR operations such as full and final settlement processing and lifecycle updates in HR systems.
Payroll Management
- Handle complete payroll processing for employees, covering salary computation, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, and deductions.
- Apply statutory deductions and contributions accurately, including PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax, gratuity, and related obligations.
- Keep payroll documentation, reports, and reconciliations updated in coordination with finance and accounts teams.
- Respond to employee payroll questions and close discrepancies efficiently.
HR Operations and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all required labour and statutory rules, including the Shops & Establishment Act, minimum wage regulations, and PF/ESI guidelines.
- Support compliance audits, inspections, and statutory filings.
- Assist the HRBP and leadership team with policy execution and compliance reporting.
Work Details
The role follows a 6-day work week and is based in Gurgaon.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in payroll processing and HR operations.
- Prior exposure to SAP is preferred.
- Good understanding of labour legislation, PF, ESI, TDS, gratuity, and related statutory rules.
- Practical experience using payroll tools and HRIS platforms.
- Strong analytical ability, problem-solving approach, and organizational discipline.
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Effective communication skills for working with employees, management, and government/statutory bodies.
