Senior Relationship Manager

Role overview

This position is responsible for steering relationship-led banking for multinational and new-economy corporate clients, working under the guidance of the team leader. The role is centered on growing revenue by deepening existing relationships, bringing in new business, and promoting wholesale banking products and services to MNC and new-economy customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of multinational clients and guide them on funding choices, product selection, and approaches that improve value for both the client and the bank.
• Lead the sourcing and structuring of deals, secure credit approvals, and drive execution of financial solutions across a portfolio of large corporate accounts.
• Assess the credit and risk profile of companies and design appropriate solutions such as working capital facilities, capex financing, and off-balance-sheet funding.
• Promote a broad range of banking offerings, including treasury products, liability products, digital banking, debt capital market solutions, syndication, corporate advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, and knowledge banking, with emphasis on liabilities, transactional banking, and selectively priced lending opportunities.
• Track client account performance, including financial health, on an ongoing basis.
• Continuously look for opportunities to increase the bank’s share of wallet within the assigned customer base.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure transactions are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
• Support the relationship management team with research and analysis on industries, clients, and market trends.

Education

Applicants should hold a CA or an MBA from a reputed institute.

Experience

The role calls for 5 to 10 years of banking experience, including at least 3 to 5 years in relationship management for multinational banking clients or corporate account management.
