Job description

Job Introduction

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our Honda Dealership in Northampton. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Saturday work on a rota basis. The compensation includes a basic salary plus a monthly bonus, with an estimated annual earning of £36,000.

Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and demanding environment. As part of a team, your duties will include managing the department's workflow, achieving and surpassing targets, and promoting our full range of services. Key tasks involve booking customer vehicles for maintenance and repairs, coordinating with the workshop team for scheduling, greeting customers upon arrival to ensure a smooth service experience from drop-off to handover, providing progress updates to customers, authorizing additional work, and conducting follow-up calls. You will also liaise with the Workshop, Parts, and Sales departments to ensure timely vehicle readiness.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and the ability to quickly build rapport with customers. The ideal candidate will be well-presented, possess a strong desire, attitude, and character to succeed. Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly one involving meeting targets for customer satisfaction and sales objectives, is beneficial. Strong organizational and administrative skills are required; knowledge of dealer management systems is an advantage but not essential. While motor trade, automotive, or car dealership experience is preferred, full training will be provided.
