Job description

Role Overview

Abhay Ispat is looking for a Shift Incharge to manage Continuous Galvalume Line (CGL) production operations at Gudur, Andhra Pradesh. The role needs someone with practical exposure to line operations who can take full ownership of a shift without supervision.

Experience

This position is intended for professionals with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end charge of CGL shift activities and ensure the line runs efficiently during the assigned shift.
  • Keep production output consistent while maintaining quality expectations and strict safety compliance.
  • Work closely with maintenance personnel to address equipment failures and support preventive maintenance actions.
  • Prepare and update production records, shift logs, and downtime-related analysis.
  • Use manpower and available resources effectively to support uninterrupted operations.

Preferred Background

Candidates with prior experience in Galvalume or galvanizing environments will be preferred. A Diploma or B.Tech background in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgy Engineering is also preferred.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech / B.E. degree in Production and Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
