Job Overview

INTECH Automation & Intelligence is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the configuration, installation, hook-up, and commissioning of control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA panels, instrumentation packages, and field automation systems. This role is crucial for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in instrumentation and control systems, coupled with proven leadership capabilities in managing site teams. Aramco approval is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all site operations, including the installation, configuration, hook-up, and commissioning of control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA panels, ESD/SIS systems, and field instrumentation.
• Provide technical direction and oversight to site personnel, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Facilitate project progress through effective communication, inter-departmental coordination, and timely escalation of issues.
• Proactively identify and resolve on-site challenges related to instrumentation and installation, adapting plans as needed to overcome technical hurdles.
• Monitor and report on the progress of site activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and achievement of project milestones.
• Guarantee full compliance of all site activities with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as specific company and client requirements.
• Deliver regular progress reports to the project manager, detailing site status, advancements, and any outstanding issues that could affect project schedules.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, engineers, and quality control staff to ensure all project deliverables align with design specifications and client expectations.

Requirements

• A Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience is required in supervising the installation, configuration, hook-up, and commissioning of control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA panels, instrumentation packages, and field instrumentation and automation systems.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA systems, ESD/SIS systems, and general control systems.
• Mandatory Aramco approval as a site supervisor.
• Demonstrated familiarity with safety regulations and standards pertinent to on-site instrumentation work.
• In-depth expertise in the configuration, setup, and installation of field instruments, control devices, DCS/PLC/SCADA systems, and ESD/SIS systems.
• Extensive experience in commissioning control and instrumentation systems, ensuring precise setup and seamless integration with broader plant control architectures.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered on-site during instrumentation and installation processes.
• Proficiency in coordinating site activities, managing project timelines effectively, and ensuring the successful delivery of technical objectives.
• Significant hands-on experience in the installation, hook-up, and commissioning of control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA panels, instrumentation packages, and related control and instrumentation systems.
• A solid track record of supervising site activities within EPC projects, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while upholding stringent safety and quality standards.
