Job description
Role overview
This position is for seasoned cybersecurity specialists who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely on a schedule they control. The work focuses on checking whether AI-produced security outputs are accurate and useful in real-world settings.
As part of the team, you will collaborate with modern AI models on assignments such as reviewing generated security material, tackling technical cybersecurity challenges, and sharing feedback that helps refine how the system understands threats and defenses. Some people use this as a side activity, while others make it their main work.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be unlocked through the platform.
Compensation and engagement
Projects are paid on an hourly basis, with rates beginning at $50 and going up to $100+ per hour. Certain projects may also include bonus pay. This is an independent contractor arrangement, and payment is handled through PayPal.
Work setup
You can choose the assignments you take, decide when you work, and complete the work on your own computer from home.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-created cybersecurity content, including threat assessments, vulnerability analysis, and offensive security approaches, to judge whether it is accurate and realistic.
- Create and solve technical security problems that are used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical write-ups and security-related code.
- Share feedback that helps shape future AI security models.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 2 years of practical cybersecurity experience in areas such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related work, including government or military cyber operations. Coding experience is required, along with the ability to work with and modify an existing codebase. Strong English communication skills at native or bilingual level are needed. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Industry certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar credentials are considered an advantage.
Important notes
This role is open only to candidates in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. The employer states that no payment or fee will ever be requested from applicants.
