Job description

About the Project

This freelance contract role is focused on social media annotation for AI training. The work supports the development of large language models by helping evaluate training data that improves model quality, communication, and reasoning.

What You’ll Do

You will review social media videos, posts, and related media to check whether specific criteria are satisfied. The role also includes evaluating model responses across different categories and deciding if they meet the stated standards.

In a typical workday, you may interact with the model in language-based scenarios, verify whether information is accurate and logically consistent, record repeatable error patterns, and contribute ideas to strengthen prompt design and evaluation methods.

Profile We’re Looking For

No formal degree is needed for this assignment. The ideal contributor has native-level fluency, a strong working knowledge of social media trends, and an ability to notice cultural context and nuance. Prior exposure to content moderation, digital media analysis, or community-oriented projects will be a strong advantage.

Clear, reflective communication is important, including the ability to explain your reasoning and document your process step by step.

Compensation and Contractor Terms

Pay is offered at a rate between $16 and $28 per hour. The exact amount will be determined after reviewing your background, expertise, and location, and the final offer may differ from the published range.

As an independent contractor, you are expected to provide your own secure computer and reliable high-speed internet. Company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and paid time off are not included.

Work Arrangement

This is a remote freelance/contract assignment and is intended for an entry-level contributor.
