About the Company

Pivotal Conversations is a Melbourne-based podcast and content studio known for building highly polished, attention-grabbing podcast brands. The team helps creators, entrepreneurs, and executives produce content designed to stand out, generate strong organic reach, and strengthen brand presence. Over the last year, the company has been privately developing YouTube channels for some of Australia’s leading podcasts and is now opening that work more broadly.

Role Overview

The Social Media Producer & Coordinator will take charge of the content workflow for multiple clients from start to finish. This role is responsible for keeping short-form and long-form content on brand, aligned to strategy, and delivered on schedule. The position involves thumbnail design, caption writing, title ideation, content review, scheduling, and general coordination to ensure the pipeline runs smoothly. The person in this role will implement the strategy defined by the Head of Strategy and make sure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete content process for several clients, from editing through to publication.
  • Create thumbnails that are built to attract clicks and improve performance.
  • Check both short-form and long-form videos to ensure each output meets quality expectations.
  • Develop captions and brainstorm YouTube titles that improve engagement and reach.
  • Plan and schedule content across platforms while keeping the publishing calendar organized.
  • Carry out the content strategy established by the Head of Strategy for each client.
  • Coordinate with editors, designers, and other stakeholders so work is delivered on time and to standard.

  • Ability to craft captions and titles that encourage engagement.
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage several clients at once without missing details.
  • Understanding of what drives performance on YouTube and other social platforms.
  • Comfort working independently with minimal supervision.
  • A commitment to high standards and a willingness to push for quality.
  • Confidence working under pressure and managing deadlines calmly.

Additional Information
