About the Role

Adecco India is hiring an experienced SQL Team Lead to work on-site at their Bangalore (MG Road) office. This full-time position involves leading a team and overseeing development and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases version 2012 and above. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, guide, and mentor a team of SQL developers to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Design and maintain scalable Microsoft SQL Server databases including schemas and data models.
  • Develop complex T-SQL code such as Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Views.
  • Utilize SSRS and SSIS tools for reporting and ETL processes.
  • Optimize queries and tune database performance for efficiency.
  • Maintain the organization's data dictionary and metadata repositories.
  • Manage ERP implementation and data migration projects effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with international customers for successful project execution.
  • Uphold coding standards and best practices related to database design and development.
  • Participate actively in Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (Any specialization).
  • 8 to 13 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server development.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling and leading teams.
  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SSRS, SSIS, and Database design.
  • Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Knowledge of ERP applications relevant to database work.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum project management frameworks.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Database Administration expertise including SQL replication and synchronization.
  • Experience with migration projects and client handling, especially international clients.
  • Some working knowledge in technologies such as .NET and jQuery.

The position requires working from the office in Bangalore with a five-day workweek, aligned to regular business hours.
