What the job involves

In this role, you will be responsible for getting pizzas to customers quickly and in good condition. You are also expected to maintain a professional look that matches brand standards, since you represent the store to customers.

• Use maps and navigation skills to find addresses within the delivery zone and travel across varied locations such as homes and multi-level buildings.
• Handle duties that may involve working independently or alongside a team, performing repetitive tasks, following quality standards, and making sound decisions under pressure.
• Take inventory, restock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage or cooler areas, and complete related paperwork.
• Answer and process phone orders quickly to support customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.
• Perform basic math accurately and efficiently, including making correct cash change when needed.
• Comfortably use tools such as a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot-paddle.

Physical expectations

This is a standing-heavy role, so you will spend most of your shift on your feet. The work may involve walking on tile and linoleum surfaces, and product deliveries can arrive two to three times a week.

• Lift, unload, or stack ingredients and supplies that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally crouch, squat, stoop, bend, or use stairs while completing tasks.
• Use hand-eye coordination for tasks such as handling pizza dough, operating a pizza peel and cutter, and folding boxes.

Qualifications

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, hold a valid driver’s license, and have at least one year of driving history. A vehicle that is insured and available for deliveries is required. Candidates must also pass both a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check that meets company standards.
