Job description

Role overview

An established restaurant group is looking for an experienced store leader to run a single location in Reno, Nevada. This role focuses on day-to-day store execution, team leadership, guest experience, and meeting financial targets. The company emphasizes associate development through paid leadership training, mentorship, and ongoing support.

What you will do

As the store manager, you will oversee all operations for one store. Your responsibilities include recruiting, leading, and directing associates, while keeping the business on track to meet financial goals and deliver a high-quality guest experience.

Training and development

Selected candidates will receive an eight-week-or-longer store leadership training program designed to set them up for success. The organization also highlights continued career growth, leadership development, education assistance, and scholarship opportunities.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers a pay range of $29 to $32 per hour, along with eligibility for a bonus program. Additional benefits for full-time associates include free meals during work, medical, vision, and dental coverage, voluntary short-term disability, cancer income protection, a pre-tax dependent care flexible spending account, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, bereavement/funeral leave, a leave share program, discounts on theme parks and gym memberships, community involvement opportunities, training support, referral bonuses, and income protection benefits such as disability, life, and AD&D insurance. Benefit eligibility must continue to be met while employed, and bonus amounts are not guaranteed and may be changed or ended at any time.

Schedule and work environment

The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, and the ability to work at a store within a 50-mile radius. The workplace can be physically demanding: kitchen and service areas may be hot, noisy, and crowded, with limited storage and high shelving. The role calls for standing for long periods, preparing hot and cold food, using kitchen tools, working quickly and accurately, lifting up to 50 lbs., and reaching across 36-inch counters.

Equal opportunity and accommodations

The employer is committed to equal employment opportunity and complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Hiring decisions are made without regard to protected characteristics such as sex, gender identity or expression, race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, age, ancestry, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, or veteran status. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities during the application and interview process.

Company background

The organization was founded in Glendale, California in 1983 and has grown into a large family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept with nearly 2,800 locations worldwide. Its mission is centered on delivering memorable dining experiences while supporting employees and communities with family-oriented values.

Additional notes

Within the stated pay range, individual compensation depends on factors such as work location and experience. There is no guarantee of bonus earnings.
