Role Summary
This full-time, on-site Store Manager position is based in the Eastern Region. The selected candidate will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the bakery and café store, ensuring operational standards, customer satisfaction, and team performance remain strong.
Key Duties
- Oversee daily store operations for both front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Plan and manage staff schedules to keep the store properly staffed.
- Maintain high standards for product quality, cleanliness, and store presentation.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate ordering, and control inventory.
- Apply loss-prevention practices to safeguard store assets and reduce shrinkage.
- Handle customer complaints and service concerns in a professional, solution-oriented way.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the company’s brand values and service expectations.
- Prepare simple reports covering sales performance, store operations, and any issues that need attention.
- Work with leadership to improve store efficiency and support business growth.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should be customer-oriented, organized, and able to manage a retail or food-service environment effectively. Prior experience in a bakery, café, retail, or other food-and-beverage setting is preferred. The role requires the ability to communicate clearly, guide staff, and maintain consistent standards throughout the store.
Additional Requirements
The position requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, depending on store needs. Basic familiarity with point-of-sale systems and the ability to compile straightforward sales and operations reports are also expected. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while further training or education in hospitality, business, or retail management is considered an added advantage.
