Role Overview

Coinford Ltd is seeking an organized and proactive Storeman to oversee materials, plant, and logistics for a dynamic project located in Sittingbourne, England. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the intake, storage, and distribution of all necessary materials and equipment to ensure the seamless operation of the construction site.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain organized, clean, and accessible storage areas for all materials.
• Issue materials and equipment to work crews as needed.
• Keep precise inventory records and alert site management to low stock levels.
• Collaborate with the procurement team for material orders.
• Assist in tracking site plant and equipment.
• Support the scheduling and coordination of site logistics and deliveries.

Requirements

• Possession of a CSCS card and relevant site experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a storeman or in materials control within a construction environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of effective teamwork with various trades.
• Legal authorization to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications

• A valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Telehandler or Forklift ticket is advantageous.
• Prior experience with site management software.
• Note: Only CSCS-affiliated NPORS cards with the CSCS hologram are accepted, in line with client requirements. Assistance with the transfer process is available if needed.
