Job description

About PDQ

PDQ is a Salt Lake City–based company that simplifies device management for IT teams, helping them work faster, stay secure, and maintain better control in complex environments. The company is supported by TA Associates and Berkshire Partners, two prominent global private equity investors.

PDQ’s guiding values are honesty, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

This full-time Strategy Analyst/Associate position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and requires working within commuting distance of PDQ’s South Salt Lake City headquarters. The role supports high-impact strategic work across the product portfolio, including pricing, product launches, customer experience, cross-sell programs, and expansion into new channels or industries.

The position plays an important part in measuring how strategic initiatives affect product adoption and overall business growth. Because PDQ operates with both sales-led and self-serve motions, the ability to identify and remove onboarding obstacles is especially important.

Candidate Profile

For the Associate level, candidates should bring 1 to 3 years of experience in technology, especially B2B SaaS, management consulting, corporate strategy, or private equity. PDQ is looking for someone who demonstrates ownership, honesty, collaboration, and a commitment to improvement. The ideal person is proactive, organized, accountable, transparent, empathetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills are essential. A self-starter mindset, perseverance, and initiative are also expected. Applicants should hold an undergraduate or graduate degree and have an exceptional academic record.

Key Responsibilities

The role focuses on improving pricing, packaging, bundling, and discount strategies to increase revenue and customer value across PDQ’s product suite. It also involves monitoring core performance indicators, identifying and prioritizing opportunities across industries, markets, customer groups, and sales motions, and helping remove barriers that limit activation or engagement.

You will also support leadership with board materials, strategic recommendations, and analytical input for senior leaders across different functions.

Benefits

PDQ offers a strong total rewards package that includes a 4-day work week, equity, and managers who actively support professional development. Benefits also include 100% premium coverage for medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents, as well as full premium coverage for short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D insurance.

Additional benefits include a company match on the first 6% of employee deferrals, a flexible paid time off policy, health savings account support, wellness incentives, and a quarterly company values award for nominated team members.

Equal Opportunity and Employment Notice

PDQ is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on sex, race, color, age, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, disability, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law. Reasonable accommodation can be requested for a medical condition or disability during any part of the hiring process.

The majority of PDQ’s full-time positions do not offer employment visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship. This may affect candidates who are currently on CPT or OPT and would need H-1B sponsorship within a few years in order to remain eligible for employment.
