About the role
Sunnyfield Disability Services is seeking a Support Worker to join its Community Hub in Tweed Heads, New South Wales. This is a full-time, on-site position for someone who values flexibility, meaningful work, and strong connection with the people they support.
The role offers regular and flexible rostering, with availability required between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Key duties
- Provide tailored support that encourages greater independence.
- Assist participants with personal care tasks.
- Support social engagement activities and development of everyday skills.
- Develop respectful, positive relationships with participants and their families.
- Keep accurate documentation and follow safe work practices.
Who the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, experience in disability support, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. You should be creative in your approach, comfortable working with complex behaviours, and able to remain calm and confident in challenging situations.
Additional requirements
- Availability to work across all hours within the daytime roster.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Two professional references.
- Successful completion of relevant checks, including NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, and National Criminal History Record Check.
