Systems Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and improve a large-scale enterprise technology environment in Tallahassee, Florida. This role focuses on reliable infrastructure operations, cloud administration, security, automation, and cross-team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and fine-tune enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, and critical business systems across AWS and Azure.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Linux Server, and identity/access management platforms.
• Deliver day-to-day operations support, including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and automation of system tasks.
• Work with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to carry out server administration work.
• Track and maintain system availability, security posture, performance, and overall reliability.
• Review network health and performance, with attention to firewalls, connectivity, and related security controls.
• Implement and optimize cloud solutions with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Set up and maintain DevOps projects, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines while streamlining operational workflows through automation.
• Support application hosting and deployment activities for software development teams.
• Identify, recommend, and roll out technology improvements and future infrastructure enhancements.
• Create documentation and automate administrative processes while keeping compliance and security expectations in mind.
• Explain technical matters clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Operate effectively both on your own and as part of a team in a dynamic enterprise setting.

Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with enterprise systems administration, cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, server environments, infrastructure monitoring, automation, security controls, network troubleshooting, DevOps tooling, and stakeholder communication is essential.

This position is based in Tallahassee, FL and is intended for onsite work.
