Where you'll work
Job description
Role overview
The Talent Acquisition Partner serves as a full-cycle recruiter, working closely with hiring managers to achieve strong hiring results across assigned job families or business areas. In this role, you will manage requisitions from launch through offer acceptance, shaping attraction, selection, and offer approaches that align with business needs.
At Assurant, this position is expected to act as a trusted advisor rather than simply executing requests. You will lead intake discussions, advise managers on screening and interview decisions, and use market intelligence plus funnel metrics to refine recruiting plans. The role requires a steady balance of speed, quality, candidate engagement, organized execution, data accuracy, and compliance.
You will handle your own requisitions while also helping the broader recruiting team when demand spikes, including sourcing and pipeline support. You will also represent Assurant’s employer brand by promoting clarity, professionalism, and respectful communication throughout the hiring journey.
Key duties
- Manage the entire recruiting process for assigned openings, from posting and sourcing through selection and offer stage
- Conduct structured kickoff meetings with hiring managers and provide ongoing recruiting consultation
- Track and manage candidate funnels and pipelines to deliver qualified slates on time
- Fill roles in line with class hiring timelines and business deadlines
- Advise hiring managers and interview panels on effective selection practices
- Extend and negotiate offers within approved parameters and secure needed approvals
- Provide candidates with a clear, respectful, and engaging experience throughout the process
- Keep requisition records accurate, compliant, and well maintained in recruiting systems
- Assist the team with sourcing and pipeline development during periods of high demand
- Work with internal partners to ensure hiring and onboarding activities are completed correctly and compliantly
Required experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- At least 3 years of end-to-end recruiting experience supporting large-scale hiring programs
- Strong advisory, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
- Direct experience shaping offer strategy and negotiating within set guidelines
- Comfort using ATS and CRM systems with a strong focus on compliance
- Ability to apply recruiting metrics, workforce data, dashboards, and labor market trends to improve hiring decisions and recruiting effectiveness
- Demonstrated project management ability in high-volume or large-scale hiring environments
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency in talent acquisition
- Ability to work with Excel functions such as pivot tables, formulas, and reporting tools to create actionable insights
- Experience preparing and leading status meetings with internal stakeholders
Preferred background
- Exposure to hiring strategy discussions or market condition analysis with business leaders
- Comfort working in fast-changing, matrixed organizations
- Ability to interpret funnel data and recruiting metrics to guide decisions
- Familiarity with Workday, Beamery, Paradox, or comparable recruiting platforms
- Experience with proactive sourcing and building candidate pipelines
Additional information
The application deadline is 06/15/2026. If no deadline is shown, this position may be a pipeline requisition and applications may continue to be collected on an ongoing basis, or the location may not require a deadline to be listed.
Any pay range associated with this role is determined by multiple factors, including candidate background, level of experience, and work location, and may allow room for salary growth over time.
