Team Leader – Program Operations

Role overview

This position is responsible for overseeing programming operations end to end across both broadcast and digital environments. The focus is on delivering content accurately, on time, and without disruption, while staying aligned with channel plans and business priorities. The role also contributes to improving operational efficiency by working closely with multiple teams, introducing smarter workflows through technology and automation, and ensuring content is fully ready for release. In addition, the role supports process enhancements and new content initiatives across the network, including ZEE5, international markets, and special projects.

Core responsibilities

• Manage subtitling and dubbing workflows based on territory-specific requirements.
• Make sure content is delivered to CAT 1 and CAT 2 regions within the required telecast timelines for both live and non-live programming.
• Oversee recapping and consolidation of episodes and films in accordance with the OFF communication and broadcast rules applicable to each territory.
• Ensure edit-shift capacity is used effectively for content capsuling.
• Support the scheduling team with backend coordination and operational assistance.

Experience and background

The preferred background for this role is 10 to 15 years of experience in TV or film content creation, direction, and editing. A graduate degree with specialization in Film and Television Production is required.

This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and is part of the full-time onsite workforce. It supports both traditional broadcast and digital content operations, and contributes to ongoing process evolution across the wider organization.
