The Opportunity

Our Orrcon Manufacturing division in Salisbury, QLD, is seeking multiple Team Members to join the Production team. Comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing support are provided, making prior operations or manufacturing experience unnecessary. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive weekly salary, overtime eligibility, and an annual performance bonus.

Work Schedule

Operations run 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, with a rotating roster covering day, afternoon, and night shifts. Shifts typically run Monday to Friday, with night shifts starting Sunday evenings. The roster involves a two-week rotation between day, afternoon, and night shifts, ensuring most weekends are free. Fixed night shift positions are also available for candidates holding a valid Heavy Combination (HC) license.

• Day shift: 5:48 AM – 2:00 PM
• Afternoon shift: 1:48 PM – 10:00 PM
• Night shift: 9:48 PM – 6:00 AM

Compensation

Starting weekly pay is from $1,154.82, with potential increases based on skill development and progression through our structured level system. Afternoon shifts include a 15% loading allowance, and night shifts receive a 30% loading allowance. Public holidays are compensated.

Key Responsibilities

As a Team Member, you will contribute to the production of high-quality steel products, prioritizing safety and meticulous attention to detail to ensure timely and superior quality delivery. Daily tasks may include:

• Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Operating machinery for product processing and manufacturing.
• Utilizing equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Performing packing and strapping, and monitoring products for quality control.

Some roles may involve manual handling, lifting, and exposure to varying environmental conditions. Comprehensive training, guidance, and equipment are provided to ensure safe task completion.
