Role Summary
This position is for a Digital Delivery Technician working on BIM-driven project support, model coordination, and digital construction workflows. The role involves partnering with multidisciplinary teams to help integrate BIM practices into complex building and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on the Middle East region and compliance with UAE standards.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires hands-on delivery of advanced BIM and digital coordination support across project stages, including model creation, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Build and apply advanced BIM processes and workflows for complex construction assignments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed BIM throughout the project lifecycle.
- Carry out detailed 3D modeling, clash checks, and coordination using BIM tools.
- Review building designs to improve efficiency, sustainability, and buildability.
- Prepare reports and visual outputs that help drive informed decisions.
- Guide and support junior BIM professionals and project team members.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to solve design and construction issues.
- Maintain adherence to local codes and standards in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.
- Keep current with BIM trends, tools, and industry practices, and introduce better ways of working.
- Lead BIM meetings and present updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- BIM certification such as Autodesk Certified Professional.
- At least 5 years of experience in BIM implementation and management, especially on large projects in the Middle East.
- Strong command of BIM platforms, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
- Highly developed capability in 3D modeling, visualization, and clash detection.
- Solid understanding of building information management and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of project management software and reporting systems.
- Good grasp of construction processes and the full building lifecycle.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, standards, and local construction practices in Abu Dhabi.
- Understanding of sustainable design principles and how they apply in BIM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
