Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely with a schedule they control. The work centers on bringing practical security expertise into AI training, especially where real-world judgment is needed to test whether model outputs are accurate and useful.
You will collaborate with modern AI models on tasks such as reviewing AI-produced security material, tackling technical security challenges, and sharing detailed feedback that helps guide how the models interpret genuine threats and defensive scenarios. Some contributors use this as a side arrangement, while others make it their main work.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will become available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Check AI-created cybersecurity content, including threat assessments, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security methods, to confirm whether the information is accurate in practice.
- Build and solve security-oriented technical tasks that are used to train AI systems.
- Produce concise technical write-ups and security-related code.
- Share feedback that helps improve future AI models for cybersecurity use cases.
Compensation and working style
- Work is paid on an hourly basis, with rates starting at $50 to $100+ per hour, and some projects may include bonus pay.
- You can pick the projects you want and decide when to work on them.
- The role is fully remote, so you can work from your own computer at home and follow your own schedule.
Additional information
This is an independent contractor arrangement. Payment is handled through PayPal. You will never be asked to pay any money as part of the hiring or work process. The role is open only to candidates based in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Eligibility
Applicants should have substantial hands-on cybersecurity experience and strong English communication skills. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and relevant certifications are considered an advantage.
