Job description
Overview
The Tire Installer role reports to the Warehouse Manager - ON and focuses on fitting and balancing tires. The position also includes carrying out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, following the company’s internal procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit, assemble, and balance tires and wheels in line with company requirements.
- Remove tires from wheels when needed.
- Confirm that all required parts and materials are available before starting an installation.
- Work with the Installation Manager to spot defects or irregularities.
- Assist the shipping and/or receiving team when support is needed.
- Coordinate with quality assurance staff, when required, to prepare a vehicle for measurement by securing it on the lift, removing the wheels, and resetting the setup as necessary.
Health and Safety
- Follow company procedures and health and safety legislation at all times.
- Keep workspaces and equipment clean, tidy, and well organized.
Additional Duties
- Take part in the yearly inventory process.
- Prepare and complete different kinds of reports.
