Turkish Language Expert

Role overview

This remote contract position is centered on supporting AI training efforts through high-quality Turkish language expertise. The work contributes to improving how next-generation models learn, reason, and respond by supplying accurate, practical language input. Previous experience in artificial intelligence is not mandatory; strong domain knowledge in Turkish language work is the key requirement.

What you will do

• Support Turkish translation, localization, and content review activities with subject-matter expertise.
• Make sure written and spoken communication is accurate, natural, and appropriate for the intended culture and audience.
• Work with teams across functions to deliver dependable linguistic output for different platforms and user groups.
• Check, refine, and correct documents so that grammar, tone, and context stay consistent and accurate.
• Share guidance on language standards and help build or improve style rules and glossary resources.
• Contribute to reviewing and enhancing language workflows to support ongoing quality improvements.
• Act as a bridge for Turkish cultural context, helping the team handle nuance and sensitivities correctly.

What we are looking for

• Turkish at native level, with strong control over grammar, style, and idiomatic usage.
• Background in professional translation, localization, or other language service work.
• Strong communication ability in both Turkish and English, spoken and written.
• Careful attention to detail and a consistent focus on producing polished, error-free work.
• Good planning and organizational ability, including handling several tasks independently.
• Comfort using online collaboration and communication tools in a remote work environment.
• Self-driven, flexible, and effective in a diverse, fast-moving team setting.

Preferred background

A qualification in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a similar discipline is preferred. Experience working on Turkish language tasks in a corporate or technology-focused environment is also an advantage. Familiarity with CAT tools or translation management systems would be useful.
