Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, user-centric, and detail-focused UI/UX Designer to craft digital experiences that are easy to use, engaging, and visually strong. This position involves designing smooth user journeys and intuitive interfaces for web products, mobile apps, and other digital platforms.
What You Will Do
You will work closely with teams across product, research, and development to understand user expectations, business goals, and product needs. Your job will include turning ideas and complex processes into clear structures, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs that improve usability and overall satisfaction.
You will take part in the full design lifecycle, from early research and concept work through testing and refinement, helping ensure that products are both practical and visually appealing.
Core Responsibilities
- Create clean and intuitive user interfaces for web, mobile, and digital experiences.
- Build user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
- Develop design solutions that reflect research findings and business needs.
- Carry out user research, usability checks, and design review sessions.
- Structure information and navigation to support a smooth user experience.
- Design interactive features that strengthen usability, accessibility, and engagement.
- Partner with product, research, and engineering teams throughout the design process.
- Keep design systems, components, and visual guidelines consistent.
- Apply responsive design and accessibility standards to design work.
- Share concepts, reasoning, and recommendations with stakeholders.
- Maintain design records, guidelines, and digital design assets.
Required Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of UI/UX principles and user-centered design methods.
- Ability to produce wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and high-fidelity screens.
- Understanding of interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
- Strong creative problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on design quality.
- Knowledge of usability, accessibility, and responsive design practices.
- Ability to convert user needs and business goals into effective design solutions.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Capability to handle several projects and priorities at once.
- Team-oriented approach with experience working across functions.
- Willingness to keep learning and improving design skills and methods.
Additional Information
This role is based in Australia and is offered as a part-time, onsite position.
