Role overview
RAC is hiring Vehicle Assessment Technicians to join its Inspections team in a site-based role at client premises in Bristol. The position involves carrying out vehicle condition reporting and testing as part of a skilled inspection team, helping support the company’s ongoing growth and high service standards.

What you will do
- Carry out inspections using defined procedures and record the outcomes through a PDA report template.
- Prepare reports on the condition of used vehicles.
- Help keep daily site inspections running smoothly by working closely with fellow team members.
- Stay in contact with customer representatives and manage interactions professionally.
What you need
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience in the motor trade.
- Good practical understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair across all areas.
- Useful knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric or hybrid vehicles.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to engage with people at different levels.
- A full UK driving licence.

The role offers a base salary of £27,850, with on-target earnings of up to £38,000.
