Role overview

Huskee is seeking a dependable and upbeat Warehouse Assistant to support the smooth running of its Wash Hub in St Peters, Sydney. The facility plays a key role in the company’s Borrow reusable cup programme. This position suits someone who is adaptable, enjoys practical work, and is happy to step in across a range of tasks, including event support, cup deliveries and pickups, and other day-to-day duties needed to keep the service operating well.

What the job involves

You will help manage the daily activity of the wash hub, including processing reusable coffee cups, running a commercial dishwasher, and keeping the warehouse tidy and efficient. The role calls for a strong eye for detail, the ability to work without close supervision, and a consistent focus on cleanliness, organisation, and safe working practices.

Key duties

• Keep warehouse operations running efficiently by supporting the day-to-day workflow and order of the space.
• Use and look after a commercial dishwasher to clean reusable coffee cups in line with health and safety expectations, while also coordinating a small group of casual wash staff.
• Transport and collect cups across the Sydney service area using the company’s EV van.
• Unload incoming goods and load products as required, handling stock carefully and correctly.
• Sort, inspect, and prepare reusable coffee cups for distribution.
• Carry out general upkeep and housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and well-arranged warehouse.
• Support receiving, verifying, and storing deliveries, and keep inventory records accurate.
• Follow warehouse safety requirements and report hazards or concerns to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements and working conditions

The role is full-time and may involve early starts or weekend work. It is physically active and includes regular standing, lifting, and moving around during the day. The successful candidate should have prior warehouse or similar experience, a valid driver’s licence, confidence using equipment such as a commercial dishwasher and a walk-behind forklift (licence not required), strong organisational ability, basic computer skills for stock tracking, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. You should also be comfortable lifting items up to 15 kg and be familiar with warehouse safety practices.
