Job description

Role overview

We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations for the Auckland team. This position plays a key part in keeping inbound and outbound workflows moving smoothly, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring the site remains safe, organised, and efficient.

Key duties

  • Handle customer orders through manual and RF-based picking, packing, weighing, and dispatching.
  • Receive goods such as supplier shipments, customer returns, and branch returns.
  • Load and unload trucks, pallets, and materials while following safe handling practices.
  • Prepare packing lists, delivery paperwork, and bills of lading.
  • Enter inbound receipts and keep system data up to date and accurate.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing items to confirm quality standards are met.
  • Carry out stock put-away, placement, and ongoing bin location upkeep.
  • Spot and report discrepancies, damage, or non-compliant stock.
  • Support returns processing and follow the applicable policy requirements.
  • Complete cycle counts and routine inventory checks.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
  • Assist with slotting, bin reconfiguration, and stock consolidation activities.
  • Work to productivity expectations and comply with all safety rules.
  • Perform basic equipment inspections and help with preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Help with counter sales and customer order queries when needed.
  • Take on other general warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What the role needs

  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy is preferred.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools is preferred.
  • Strong ability to work well in a team and cooperate with others.
  • Good problem-solving ability and confidence in identifying issues and taking action.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and records.
