Role Overview
An employer in Dublin 24 is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to support the growth of its operation. This position is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland and is suited to someone who can take ownership of day-to-day warehouse activity while leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and coordinate a warehouse team of around five staff members.
- Manage inbound goods processes so that deliveries are received, checked, and recorded correctly.
- Oversee put-away and storage arrangements to make the best use of available warehouse space and workflow.
- Supervise picking, packing, and despatch activities to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Keep stock records reliable through regular cycle counts and full stock-taking exercises.
- Track warehouse performance and introduce practical improvements that increase productivity and improve process flow.
- Maintain a safe workplace by following health and safety standards and encouraging compliance across the team.
- Work with other internal teams to support effective stock control and smooth order fulfilment.
- Look into stock variances and operational problems, then put corrective actions in place.
- Coach, train, and develop team members so warehouse targets and operational goals are met.
Requirements
- At least 4–5 years of experience in warehouse management or warehouse supervision, ideally within distribution or logistics.
- Proven ability to manage, guide, and develop warehouse teams.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse processes such as goods receipt, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Hands-on experience carrying out stock counts and maintaining high inventory accuracy.
- Strong organisational and troubleshooting abilities.
- Confident leadership and clear communication skills.
- Ability to perform well in a busy, fast-moving environment and contribute to continuous improvement.
