Role Overview
As a Warehouse Operator based in Karratha, Western Australia, you will help keep the warehouse and trade centre running smoothly through accurate stock handling, customer support, documentation, and safe day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the everyday running of the Karratha Warehouse and Trade Centre.
- Deliver responsive customer support by handling orders, communication, and stock-related queries.
- Prepare and process operational paperwork, including ROSAs, dangerous goods records, and sales and delivery documentation.
- Carry out stock movement activities such as receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatching, cycle counts, and stocktakes.
- Deal with damaged inventory and respond to customer questions or complaints.
- Support purchasing, despatch, and invoicing activities when needed.
- Contribute to reports, data entry, and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, 5S, and environmental care, including immediate spill response when required.
- Coordinate with suppliers and work closely with the Trade Centre team.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and escalate any faults or defects.
- Step in to support the Trade Centre when the manager is unavailable.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
- A current forklift licence and practical experience operating a counterbalance forklift are required.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities are desirable.
- Comfortable working with a strong health and safety mindset.
- Physically fit, self-driven, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
