Role Summary
This is a full-time warehouse position on-site in Germany. The worker will handle incoming shipments, sort and organize goods, pick and pack orders, and prepare items for dispatch. The job also includes using basic warehouse tools and equipment such as pallet jacks or trolleys, applying labels and scanning products, and keeping storage areas tidy and well-ordered. The role requires regular stock checks, raising issues when counts do not match, and consistently working to safety, hygiene, and quality standards while supporting the team in achieving daily output goals.
Key Duties
- Receive deliveries, unload items, and sort stock as it arrives.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy.
- Use basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and trolleys, as needed.
- Scan items and maintain orderly storage and stock locations.
- Carry out inventory counts and report any differences or shortages.
- Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and quality procedures at all times.
- Work alongside supervisors and team members to meet productivity expectations.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior exposure to warehousing, logistics, or general labor work, preferably in a busy setting.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, stand for extended periods, and work in changing warehouse conditions.
- Basic reading, writing, and counting ability for labels, stock checks, and simple records.
- Careful and accurate work style, especially when handling stock, packing, and labeling.
- Dependable, on time, and able to follow instructions and standard procedures.
- Comfortable working with a varied team and communicating clearly with supervisors and coworkers.
- Availability for shifts, overtime, and weekend work when business needs require it.
- Valid travel documents and authorization to work in Germany, with readiness to complete any needed permit or compliance steps.
- Forklift or similar equipment certification is helpful but not essential, as training may be offered.
- Basic English or German communication skills are an added advantage for safety and workplace coordination.
