Water Maintenance III

Role Overview

This is a full-time union role focused on keeping municipal infrastructure in working order across water, sewer, street, and public works systems. The work combines field maintenance, repair, equipment operation, and support for city infrastructure projects.

Key Duties

The position involves routine maintenance and repair tasks, along with heavier construction-related work when needed. You may operate both light and heavy machinery, help with street and facility upkeep, and respond quickly to utility issues such as water main breaks or sewer backups.

Depending on the assignment, you may work on your own or with a small team. In some cases, the role may also involve serving as a construction inspector for public works projects.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $24.59 to $30.74. Full benefits are included.
