About the Company
Sri Daakshyaani Energy Solutions (SDES) was founded in 2014 by Mr. Madduri L Aditya, Managing Partner. The organization is accredited as an Electro Technical Calibration Laboratory under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), Government of India. Its work includes calibration of CTs, PTs up to 220 KV, and energy meters of various kinds. SDES also offers techno-liaison services to industries for setting up new power plants and works with DISCOM and TRANSCO utilities in AP and TS for legalization of consumer power plants. In addition, it operates as an EPC company handling supply, erection, and installation of substations across AP and TS.
Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support solar project liaisoning and approval activities, with a strong focus on regulatory coordination, utility interactions, documentation, and stakeholder management. The position requires close work with government departments, transmission and distribution utilities, and internal project teams to keep approvals, clearances, and commissioning-related processes moving on schedule.
Regulatory and Statutory Approvals
- Arrange all mandatory permits, approvals, and licenses needed for solar projects.
- Work with state and central departments to secure project clearances.
- Ensure adherence to APERC rules, regulations, and policy requirements.
- Monitor approval progress and actively follow up with the concerned authorities.
- Draft and file applications, technical submissions, and supporting paperwork.
- Keep organized records of approvals, correspondence, and statutory documents.
- Track expiry dates for licenses and permits and ensure renewals are completed on time.
- Prepare regular compliance and progress updates for management.
Utility and Grid Coordination
- Coordinate with state transmission utilities and DISCOMs such as APSPDCL and APEPDCL, along with other transmission bodies.
- Support the process for grid connectivity approvals.
- Handle evacuation-related approvals and feasibility studies.
- Assist with synchronization permissions, metering approvals, and charging/commissioning clearances.
- Coordinate with Load Dispatch Centres for synchronization and operational approvals.
Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with government officials, utilities, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in meetings with regulatory authorities and external agencies.
- Resolve approval-related issues and help ensure smooth communication across stakeholders.
- Support project teams during inspections, commissioning, and handover activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- The preferred background includes 1 to 4 years of experience in liaisoning for solar, renewable energy, power, or infrastructure projects.
- Prior exposure to government departments, utilities, and regulatory bodies is needed.
- Knowledge of grid connectivity and statutory approval workflows is preferred.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Understanding of solar project development and execution.
- Working knowledge of the Electricity Act and renewable energy regulations.
- Familiarity with grid connectivity procedures.
- Awareness of state and central government approval processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal ability.
- Relationship-building skills with regulatory and government stakeholders.
- Negotiation, coordination, and documentation capabilities.
- Ability to prepare reports and manage follow-ups effectively.

Additional Information
This role is based in Tirupati, India. The compensation range is INR 2,25,000 to 3,50,000 per year. The job opening is for a full-time position.
