Associate Lead Design - ELV/Telecom

Role summary

This position is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of telecom infrastructure for data centers. The role calls for solid knowledge of telecom systems and infrastructure, along with the ability to work closely with multiple teams to help deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to high quality expectations.

Core responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing telecom infrastructure design for data center environments.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand telecom needs and translate them into workable design solutions.
• Offer technical input to support successful delivery from early concept development through final execution.
• Help carry out regular checks and reviews of telecom systems, identify improvement opportunities, and implement updates to improve performance and efficiency.
• Track project timelines, budget limits, and quality standards to support effective and reliable delivery.
• Contribute to onboarding and capability-building for new team members as the design team grows.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, gather design inputs, share progress updates, and support decision-making.
• Promote a digital-first approach across the organization and stay current with digital and AI advancements that can improve competitiveness.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics and Telecom or Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronics and Telecommunications is required. The role expects 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in telecom design and infrastructure management within data center environments. Professional certification in telecommunications or data center design is preferred.

Stakeholders

Internal stakeholders include the Head of Design, Data Internal teams, direct reportees, and cross-functional teams. External stakeholders include customers and vendors.
