Machine Operator – Day Shift

Role overview

Hilton Foods is hiring an experienced Machine Operator to help support day-to-day activities on a designated production line/team in the Production Hall. This is a day-shift position based in Huntingdon.

Working pattern and pay

The role pays £14.72 per hour. The schedule follows a 4 on, 4 off rota, with working hours from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Key duties

• Run production machinery as needed.
• Make sure all product and batch materials are cleared from the end of the line before the next batch starts.
• Understand product specifications and ensure the relevant specifications are available.
• Help the team improve and implement procedures and processes so required work standards are consistently achieved.
• Share recommendations with the training function for all line operators.
• Keep team members motivated and support a positive working environment.
