About the Role
Siegelman Stable is hiring an experienced Operations & E-Commerce Manager to run the daily operational core of a fast-growing brand. The ideal candidate has already managed the systems that support a modern e-commerce business and can take ownership independently from day one.
This is a broad, hands-on position in a startup environment where flexibility matters. The team is looking for someone who enjoys a creative setting, has an interest in fashion and sports, and wants to help shape the operating model of a growing brand. You should be highly structured, strongly analytical, and comfortable working with the core tools of online retail, including Shopify, Excel, and warehouse/fulfillment platforms. In this role, you will work closely with the founder and oversee e-commerce, inventory, and fulfillment operations end to end.
E-Commerce and Website Operations
- Run and improve the Shopify storefront from end to end, including product uploads, collections, product copy, metafields, and troubleshooting site issues.
- Coordinate online product launches, drops, back-in-stock events, and pre-order processes.
- Track website performance and either resolve issues yourself or bring in the right support to fix them.
Reporting and Analysis
- Create and share recurring reports covering customer activity, sales patterns, and overall site performance.
- Turn data findings into practical recommendations the team can act on.
- Keep a close watch on inventory levels and communicate restock needs before products sell through.
Inventory and Operations
- Manage inventory across Shopify and warehouse or fulfillment systems, including reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain forecasting and replenishment plans, mainly using Excel with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and well-structured data.
- Maintain SKU structure, product data accuracy, and documentation for internal systems.
- Work with fulfillment partners to ensure orders, returns, and exchanges are handled accurately and on schedule.
Logistics and Vendor Management
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping, including international freight and customs when required.
- Handle relationships with vendors, warehouses, and 3PL partners.
- Identify workflow improvements that make operations more efficient.
Customer and Brand Experience
- Set and maintain customer service standards across email and social channels, including professional handling of escalations.
- Support a polished, consistent brand experience at every customer touchpoint.
Role Details
This position is full-time and based in New York, with an in-office work setup.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of practical experience in e-commerce or retail operations, ideally in a growing brand where you handled multiple responsibilities.
- Strong Excel capability is essential, including forecasting, reconciliations, and reporting performed independently.
- Proven, day-to-day Shopify experience, not just general familiarity.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse or fulfillment systems and inventory reconciliation.
- Ability to pull and interpret data related to customer behavior and broader trends.
- Excellent organization and sharp attention to detail.
- Clear, professional written communication skills.
- Interest in fashion and sports, along with enthusiasm for the brand.
- Self-directed mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced startup where priorities can change quickly.
- Experience working with 3PLs, customs or freight, and marketing or analytics tools.
