Role overview

This contract position is for a Private Equity Associate working remotely. The assignment is designed for a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours and pays an hourly rate of $100 to $144.

Core responsibilities

Perform in-depth due diligence and evaluate confidential information memoranda, along with the related deal materials.
Prepare, polish, and validate Investment Committee memos and Board Decks used in decision-making.
Work through public filings, financial statements, and detailed transaction documents to support investment analysis.
Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to track progress and surface any issues or errors.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of care and precision throughout the deal lifecycle.

Required background

Substantial experience in private equity, or a mix of private equity and investment banking, at the Associate or Analyst level.
Hands-on experience with public filings, M&A or financing transactions, and the preparation of CIMs/SIMs and diligence materials.
Strong capability in building and editing Investment Committee memos and Board Decks so complex information is clearly communicated.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to present persuasive and accurate narratives to different audiences.
Strong organizational habits, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage several projects at the same time.
