Role Overview
This is a full-time remote role supporting a collegiate athletic conference and its partners. The Project Coordinator will work directly with sponsors, school properties, and vendors to plan and deliver events and activations tied to conference programming. The position partners closely with the Project Manager and calls for someone who is self-driven, highly organized, comfortable working independently, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Strong attention to detail is essential. Travel is required for 30% to 40% of the time.

What You Will Do
You will support client services across event execution, sponsorship activations, hospitality, and account administration. The role involves anticipating project needs, helping the team move work forward efficiently, and bringing practical, creative solutions when challenges arise. You will manage the administrative side of accounts through a project management platform, keeping timelines, agendas, notes, recaps, status updates, event trackers, and run-of-show details organized throughout the year. You will also serve as a connector between the accounts and operations teams to align the program with client expectations and operational realities. In addition, you will maintain a strong understanding of sponsor partnerships, oversee deliverables, review learnings to improve future activations, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings 2 or more years of relevant experience, with backgrounds in event coordination, tours, hospitality, partnership management, or agency work being especially valuable. You should be motivated by creating engaging consumer journeys that support brand goals, and you should be comfortable using Keynote, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Excel, and a project management tool such as Asana or Monday. Success in this role also requires strategic thinking, curiosity, strong judgment, excellent preparation, meticulous attention to quality, the ability to solve problems in more than one way, accountability, and clear communication skills.
