Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative role is an important part of Sitecore’s sales team and is designed to build the foundation for a career in technology sales. The position supports the company’s growth by driving awareness, identifying potential customers, qualifying opportunities, and creating new business pipeline.
What You Will Do
- Handle incoming leads while also running outbound prospecting activities.
- Create and execute targeted outreach campaigns to find new contacts, assess their needs and fit, and book product introductions.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop a strong and healthy pipeline.
- Maintain contact with prospects and continue nurturing opportunities through the funnel.
- Represent Sitecore positively to customers and prospects by sharing product knowledge and enthusiasm.
- Schedule discovery conversations and qualified product demos for the field sales and pre-sales teams.

- Strong communication skills with a positive tone, active listening ability, and clear writing.
- A self-driven, curious, and energetic mindset with a strong desire to achieve results.
- Confidence in making cold calls and starting new conversations.
- Comfort working in a performance-oriented, metrics-based environment.
- Ability to study market and industry trends and turn them into effective messaging.
- Interest in building a long-term career in enterprise sales.
Additional Strengths
- Experience with outbound prospecting and lead generation in a B2B setting.
- Interest in technology and in using it to create meaningful business and societal impact.
- Background in tech, sales development, telesales, or related sales roles.
