About the Role

The company is hiring a Senior Java Engineer to join its engineering team in Singapore. This position focuses on backend development, system design, and technical problem-solving for large-scale services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services.
• Contribute to technical design decisions and overall system architecture, while producing key code components and resolving difficult technical issues.
• Review existing platforms in detail to uncover areas where performance or design can be improved.
• Investigate emerging technologies and assess whether they can be applied effectively.

Requirements

• Strong Java fundamentals, including working knowledge of I/O, multithreading, collections, and JVM internals.
• More than 3 years of backend engineering experience, with a solid grasp of common open-source frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, plus familiarity with Dubbo or Spring Cloud microservice frameworks.
• Understanding of distributed system design and supporting middleware such as caching, message queues, and search engines.
• Comfortable working with Linux environments and MySQL databases.
• Good ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and integrate systems effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in new technologies and a habit of writing clean, well-structured code.
