Role overview

AI71 is looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to build, improve, and refine user interfaces for AI-enabled applications. In this role, you will partner with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and ML engineers to create web experiences that are intuitive, fast, and visually strong while highlighting advanced AI functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Create and support responsive, interactive, and scalable frontend applications.
• Build user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Next.js, or Angular.
• Collaborate with designers to turn wireframes and prototypes into polished, production-ready code.
• Integrate frontend interfaces smoothly with backend APIs and AI-powered features.
• Improve performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across applications.
• Keep code quality high through good development practices, peer reviews, and testing.
• Stay current with new frontend tools, trends, and AI-oriented UI approaches.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in frontend development, with strong experience in React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Solid command of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
• Understanding of frontend performance tuning and accessibility standards.
• Experience using Git or similar version control tools.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend testing tools such as Jest and Cypress.

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to UI/UX principles and design systems.
• Experience with server-side rendering through Next.js and static site generation.
• Familiarity with AI-driven interface components and visualization frameworks.
