Technology Associate - Relocation to Dubai

Role overview

This position is aimed at recent technology graduates who want to begin their careers inside a major aviation and travel technology environment. It offers a one-year development journey with Emirates Group IT, giving practical exposure, guidance from experienced professionals, and opportunities to work across areas such as AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and software engineering.

As a Technology Associate, you will contribute to the creation, delivery, support, and upkeep of technology products and services that help Emirates Group run and improve its business operations.

What you will do

• Carry out assigned technical work while building scalable, durable solutions based on established engineering and technology practices.
• Review business needs and system requirements, and support the technical design stage by helping shape suitable solutions that match agreed standards.
• Build, configure, test, and roll out technology solutions as part of a team, ensuring they satisfy both business and technical needs.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application or system problems, and escalate unresolved matters using the correct internal process.
• Work with cross-functional colleagues to spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements while following Emirates Group IT rules, guidelines, and best practices.
• Assist with unit testing, validation, and quality assurance tasks under the direction of senior team members.
• Help maintain technology playbooks, standards documents, and other governance materials.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or another technology-related discipline.
• A CGPA of 3.0 or above, or an equivalent academic result.
• At least 1 year of exposure to current technologies through academic coursework or internships in a technology-related setting.

Skills and knowledge

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Clear and open communication with a constructive team approach.
• Basic understanding of Agile and DevOps-style delivery methods.
• Familiarity with unit testing, functional testing, and test automation concepts.
• Genuine interest in learning new technologies that support business goals.
• Exposure to one or more modern technology areas such as application development, cloud, enterprise platforms, integration, data, digital technologies, or security.
