Role overview
HCLTech is hiring a professional with at least L2-level practical experience in core Active Directory support for a hybrid environment. The role focuses on keeping directory services stable, handling domain controller lifecycle tasks, and supporting related infrastructure components.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory replication issues.
- Carry out domain controller promotion and decommissioning tasks as needed.
- Support DNS and LDAP-related activities in the directory environment.
- Administer Group Policy Objects and related policy changes.
- Work on Hyper-V administration for infrastructure hosted on Hyper-V.
- Maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Entra Connect (Azure AD Connect) integrations.
Desired technical background
- Practical L2-level experience in core Active Directory support.
- Solid hands-on experience with replication, domain controllers, GPOs, DNS, and LDAP.
- Exposure to hybrid identity environments.
- Familiarity with Hyper-V-based infrastructure.
- Working understanding of Microsoft Entra Connect.
Additional skills that will help
- Basic experience with Microsoft patching activities.
- Exposure to Azure Arc.
